The Starlet ski from Black Diamond features a women's specific flex. While Black Diamond may not even know what that actually means besides "a little softer than other skis," the Starlet features soft, wide early-rise tips and a lightweight paulownia wood core. It also features Torsion Box construction and Formula One Technology.

The Starlet's tails are designed specifically with touring in mind, as they are completely flat with a special SkinLock technology to keep skins firmly attached.

They are available in 156cm, 166cm, and 176cm lengths. In the 166, they measure 134 / 100 / 121 mm wide from tip to tail.
