From the parking lot at Camp Misery, it's 3 miles and 1,778 feet of elevation gain up the trail to the summit of Mt. Aeneas. This area can be accessed by snow shoe, but it is also great for early season and late season alpine ski/snowboard touring, or just some aggressive backcountry powder lines during the middle of the season. Once up on the ridgeline near the summit, there are a multitude of lines dropping down into the shady bowl to the north as well as a number of possibilities down the front side.

Be sure to enjoy the fabulous views of the Flathead valley and Flathead Lake, the Mission Mountains, and Glacier National Park!

Skiing (Downhill), Snow Shoeing, Snowboarding
