Description

Lutsen Mountains boasts offers one of the largest ski and snowboard areas in the Midwest. The mountain has a vertical rise of 1,088 feet and 1,000 skiable acres of terrain. The area receives over 100 inches of average annual snowfall and 231 acres are supplemented by snowmaking.
Lutsen Mountain offers skiers and snowboarders 92 trails and 60 acres of tree skiing runs. The longest trail is 2 miles long. The trails are rated 18% easiest, 47% more difficult, 25% most difficult, and 10% expert. The trails are accessed by 10 lifts that tow skiers and snowboarders at an uphill capacity of 10,000 people per hour. Trails include Ridgeline, Alpha, and Raven.
