Ski Brule advertises itself as one of the most family-friendly resorts in the Midwest, and i would say that that's probably true... as long as the kids are pretty young. As for "visitors of all abilities can find a trail that meets their needs..." I'd say there's no way!

Ski Brule marks several of their trails all of the way up to a black diamond difficulty, but I have no idea how they can possibly fool themselves into thinking they have anything even approaching black terrain! I have skied for 13 years, and in my opinion not a single run at Ski Brule should be rated more difficult than a blue square, and THAT is even being generous!

When we traveled to Ski Brule we only skied half a day because it was so boring.

Ski Brule is "family friendly" if you're trying to put a good spin on things... but if you're being honest, it's dead boring.
