Sunday River takes visitors down a vertical of 2,340 feet from a summit of 3,140 feet and boasts varying terrain over 668 skiable acres. The area receives 167 inches of snow annually and snowmaking supplements 92% of the terrain.
Sunday River has 133 trails totaling 50 miles. 16 lifts service the trails at an uphill capacity of 30,000 skiers and snowboarders per hour. The trails are rated 33% novice, 36% intermediate, 19% expert, and 12% expert only. Trails include Three Mile Trail, Ruby Palace, and Tempest.
