For a small resort, Powderhorn has some sweet runs. Its glades, like Mad Dog Glade and Thunder Mountain are great playgrounds and while its steeper runs like Hooligan and Cow Camp do get bumped out, they still offer a lot of entertainment! There is a wide variety of intermediate terrain as well. Powderhorn is a great mountain to learn to ski on because of the variety of runs and the ability to play around in boulder fields, tree shots and terrain parks.
