This is a small "homey" ski area with a great deal of variety. There are some nice green runs, a lot of choices in blues, a great "organic" terrain park (meaning that it uses natural obstacles as well as traditional ones) which my tween/teen boys loved, lots of tree trails, and even some extreme double-black terrain which requires a 1/5 mile hike. This area is at the top of the pass and is known for being cold and windy, which does result in some runs at the top of the mountain being fairly icy. The food was surprisingly good in the lodge, but this is definitely a less developed ski area. Lifts were all two-seaters and it took some time to get to the top of the mountain. We had more fun at this ski area than I expected we might at first glance, though.
