Breck has a cool town and is cool to say, but if you're an avid skier this isn't the best place to go. They have some good bowls, but other than that there isn't much to it. I think the lure of Breck was lost in 1989.

Some great runs and awesome bowls, but often too crowded for my tastes. Still, who can NOT love Breck? Best thing is the ski run all the way back to town!

Breckenridge has so many lifts and runs that I never get bored! Some of the runs may be a bit overrated in terms of difficulty (I don't think I've skied any double black diamonds anywhere except Breck) but that's ok with me. The bowl area is killer though the last time I was there the only way to get up was to use the T-bar (ouch). I also love how convenient the town is to the mountain - always lots to do after skiing!
