Description
Skiers and snowboarders are treated to 300 days of sunshine per year and over 400 inches of average annual snowfall at this hight altitude resort. Mammoth Mountain has plenty to offer to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities at this expansive winter playground.
Mammoth Mountain's summit sits at 11,053 feet and takes skiers down over half a mile of vertical drop at 3,100 feet. The resort boasts a whopping 150 named trails, 46 of which are supplemented by snowmaking.
The trails are accessed by 28 lifts. The trail ratings are 25% beginner, 40% intermediate, 20% advanced, and 15% expert. Popular trails include Over Easy, Sanctuary, Dragon's Back, and Wall Street.
